21 students accepted into entrepreneurship program

A total of 21 middle and high school students from the Grand Valley have been accepted to participate in the first year of the Young Entrepreneur’s Academy.

Weekly classes are set to begin Sept. 17 and continue through May in a program that takes students through the process of launching a business or social movement. By the end of the course, the students will own and operate functioning businesses.

The students are: Ike Armstrong, Kendall Clark, Jason Cronk, Kainoa Cunningham, Maile Cunningham, John David, Jordan DeLeon, Briana Elias, Lilana Flanigan, Sam Jackson, Sam Johnson, Sage Lawson, Gabby Martinez, Samuel McBurney, Scott Nielson, Jayna Neilsen, Jared Sheader, Abagale Stone, Jacob Trujillo, Austin Watson and Mark Wilson.
