Airline adds to regional flights to serve ski resorts

Allegiant has announced plans to expand its commercial air services in Western Colorado.

Starting Dec. 18, Allegiant plans to offer twice-weekly nonstop flights between Montrose Regional Airport and Las Vegas. The new seasonal flights are expected to bring nearly 5,000 visitors to Telluride and other ski resorts in the region.

Allegiant also offers service between Grand Junction Regional Airport and Las Vegas and Los Angeles as part of nationwide services connecting travelers to resort destinations. For more information, visit the Web site located at
