Airlines to add to summer service to Grand Junction

Two airlines have announced plans to add flights to their service to Grand Junction for the summer season.

Beginning June 7, SkyWest Airlines will offer three daily flights between Grand Junction and Salt Lake City. SkyWest serves as a regional carrier for Delta Airlines.

Beginning June 14, American Eagle Airlines will add a third flight to its service between Grand Junction and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

American Eagle serves as a regional carrier for American Airlines.

Amy Jordan, deputy director of administration at the Grand Junction Regional Airport, hailed the additions as good news. “More flight options mean more convenience and more choice for both leisure and business travelers,” Jordan said.
