Airport website takes flight with more features and information
The Grand Junction Regional Airport has revamped its website to offer new features that allow commercial airline passengers to buy tickets as well as track flights.
The website at www.gjairport.com also offers a variety of other information.
The airport website was redesigned to offer improved navigation and search capabilities as well as a number of new features.
The website now offers commercial airline passengers the ability to search for and book flights. People also can track arriving and departing flights at the Grand Junction airport.
Additional features of the new website include a calendar of airport events and information about meetings of the Grand Junction Regional Airport Authority Board. Information about projects and general aviation at the airport also is posted on the website. Job openings are posted on the site and people can apply for those positions online.
The website offers information about visiting the area and offers links to the Grand Junction Visitor & Convention Bureau and local chambers of commerce.
A mobile version of the website is available for people who want to access information on their mobile telephones. Passengers also can sign up to receive mobile alerts about their flights.
In addition to the new website, the Grand Junction Regional Airport has launched social media sites through Facebook and Twitter.
