Alpine Bank donations through debit card program top $1 million

Alpine Bank donated more than $1 million to nonprofits and community projects during 2017 through a debit card program.

Alpine Bank donates 10 cents to groups and projects for every transaction completed with what the bank brands as a loyalty debit card program. Customers select from among seven areas to earmark funds.

“We want to thank our customers for supporting their communities,” said Bob Young, founder and chairman of Alpine Bank.

Headquartered in Glenwood Springs, Alpine Bank operates 38 locations across Colorado. For more information, visit
