ANB Bank equips ATM with technology to deter fraud

ANB Bank has installed new software and hardware on its automated teller machines to protect customers’ information.

“It is highly important we protect our ATM customers, and this new solution helps us do just that. Plus, it will help deter or eliminate this fraudulent activity,” said Vance Wagner, regional president of ANB Bank.

The anti-skimming detection technology includes a customized copper bevel or cover for ANB Bank ATMs. This piece attached to the card insert area of the machine makes it difficult for potential thieves to install a deep insert skimmer. ATMs also have received software updates to anti-skimming detection software.

ANB Bank operates a total of 30 locations in Colorado, Wyoming and the Kansas City area. For additional information, visit
