Applications will be accepted through Nov. 11 for openings in an artist in residence program at the 970West Studio operated by Mesa County Libraries in Grand Junction.

The program will accept three artists in 2017 who each will serve terms of about 15 weeks. The program is open to Mesa County artists 18 and older. Artists in a variety of mediums will be considered.

More information is available online at www.mesacountylibraries.org. Applications must be submitted online.

Located near the intersection of Fifth Street and Ouray Ave., the 970West Studio includes a multimedia production studio and training room as well as a control room.  The facility offers residents a place in which to record and produce a variety of creative works in digital formats.
