Applications sought for Wells Fargo grants

Applications will be accepted through July 1 for the latest round of grants from the Wells Fargo Community Assistance Fund.

“Helping local grassroots organizations is a long-time tradition at Wells Fargo and an important way we serve our local communities,” said Nathan Christian, regional bank president for Colorado.

Eligible organizations must hold certification as a  501(c)(3) nonprofit entity and have an annual budget of $350,000 or less. Grant applications are available at Wells Fargo banking locations throughout the state.

The Wells Fargo Community Assistance Fund was started in 1993 to provide financial support to small groups that don’t have the resources to compete for grants. Since then, 4,000 grants worth a combined $3.9 million have been awarded.

In Colorado, Wells Fargo operates 170 banking locations, 30 advisors locations and 20 home mortgage locations. For more information, visit www.wellsfargo.com.
