Appraisal firm plans free barbecue as a way to thank the Grand Valley

Brownlee Appraisal Services has scheduled its annual “Value the Valley” barbecue for 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Grand Pavilion in Canyon View Park in Grand Junction.

The appraisal firm stages the barbecue as way to thank the community. The event is open to the public and  will include free food as well as prize giveaways.
