Artful venture sells coffee and gifts for a good cause

A Grand Junction coffee shop has a new name and an expanded operation that sells gifts created by local artists.

The venture continues to raise money to support the child and teen grief program offered by Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado.

What was called Cups Coffee House is now called the Artful Cup. The shop is still located in the Miller Homestead at 3090 N. 12th St.

“Artful Cup is the place for coffee and creations,” said Christy Whitney, founder and chief executive officer of Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado. “Our customers will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious latte and shop for unique gifts created by local artists at the same time. Of course, all proceeds will continue to support grieving children and teens right here in our community. It’s shopping you can feel good about in more ways than one.”
