Arthroscopic surgeon joins sports Grand Junction practice
Pete Scheffel, a doctor who specializes in arthroscopic surgery, has joined Rocky Mountain Orthopaedic Associates in Grand Junction.
Scheffel will work primarily with the sports medicine team at the practice, treating athletes and recreational enthusiasts.
“I’m excited to join RMOA as one of the sports medicine surgeons,” Scheffel said. “Grand Junction is an area full of recreational enthusiasts, providing me with the opportunity to help people of all abilities recover from knee, shoulder and hip injuries which are a result of their daily activities or athletic endeavors.”
Scheffel uses arthroscopic surgical techniques for ligament reconstruction, cartilage regeneration, shoulder dislocation and hip surgery.
