Bank challenge: Pinpoint the pine

Alpine Bank will offer a total of more than $4,000 in cash and prizes to the winners of its latest Pinpoint the Pine contest during the Fruita Fall Festival.

The bank will hide 100 Alpine Bank pine logo magnets throughout Fruita. The contest is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Sept. 25 and conclude at 7 p.m. Sept. 26. Anyone who finds a magnet can bring it to the Alpine Bank tent to redeem it for $25 in cash. Winners also will be entered into a drawing to win one of three prizes: a backcountry bike trip, dinosaur dig for two or adventure gift card.
