Bank honors employees for efforts on the job and in volunteer roles
American National Bank has honored two employees — one for her service on the job, the other for her service as a volunteer.
Besty Madden was selected as the employee of the quarter. Lauri Horn received the Community Corps Award.
Madden, retail administrator for the Western Colorado region, received the award for the second quarter. She was nominated for her willingness to travel to the bank branch in Aspen to help out while the managers were on vacation, for taking time to listen to employee and customer questions and for helping team members succeed.
Horn, manager of the American National Bank branch in Fruita, received the Community Corps Award for the second quarter. Horn participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life as well as as fund-raiser for the March of Dimes. She volunteers to work at the Downtown Farmer’s Market, participated in the Fruita Business Expo and attends chamber of commerce events.
