Bank names senior VP and retail leader

Travis Thornton

Travis Thornton has been promoted to senior vice president and area retail leader for Vectra Bank Colorado in the Grand Valley and Four Corners areas.

Thornton will be responsible for deposits, retail lending and coaching the staff at branches in Grand Junction and Montrose as well as Cortez, Durango and Farmington, N.M.

Thornton brings to his new duties 17 years of experience in retail banking sales and management, the past two as branch manager for Vectra Bank in Boulder. He also served as a branch manager for Vectra from 1997 to 2000. In addition, he served as a vice president at Key Bank and a vice president and commercial loan operations manager for Compass Bank.
