Bank names vice president of trust and asset management office

Gena Cooper has returned to the Alpine Bank trust and asset management office in Grand Junction as vice president.

“I am very fortunate to have this opportunity,” Cooper said. “The diverse group of clients represented in our markets makes my job so interesting and refreshing. I also look forward to reconnecting with past relationships and working with many of my former colleagues.”

Cooper joined Alpine Bank in 2000 and has worked in bank locations in Delta, Glenwood Springs and Steamboat Springs. She also worked in the trust and asset management office in Grand Junction for several years, directing administrative functions and serving as a client portfolio manager. For the past eight years, she has managed the bank employee stock ownership and 401(k) plans.

Prior to joining Alpine Bank, Cooper worked seven years in San Diego in the insurance and business supply industries.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Colorado and a master’s of business administration degree from San Diego State University.
