Boy scouts selling Christmas trees from new location

Christmas trees are now available from a Boy Scout lot open at a new location in Grand Junction.

Boy Scout Troop 303 sells douglas, grand and noble fir Christmas trees ranging from 4- to 12-feet high. The trees were freshly cut in Oregon just before shipment to Grand Junction.

The lot is located at the corner of First Street and Patterson Road and open from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.

“The tree lot is our only fund-raiser for the scout program and helps pay for summer scout camp and other activities throughout the year,” said Bill Moore, scoutmaster with Troop 303.
