Broncos caravan coming to Grand Junction

The Denver Broncos Country Caravan is scheduled to stop in Grand Junction July 12 as part of a partnership with Rocky Mountain Health Plans to promote wellness.

The free event is set for 5 to 7 p.m. at Stocker Stadium near Seventh Street and North Avenue.

Participants will have an opportunity to meet Denver Broncos cheerleaders and former players as well have their photographs taken with Super Bowl trophies. Drawings for autographed memorabilia and tickets will be given away.

Members of Rocky Mountain Health Plans who show their member identification cards will be entered in a drawing for two tickets to a Broncos home game.

In addition, participants can join in the Rocky Mountain Health Plans Combine, a National Football League-style event testing physical performance in vertical and broad jumps and a 40-yard dash.
