Bus system offers free evening services

Grand Valley Transit will offer free bus service after 7 p.m. through August.

Buses on eight of 11 routes operate from 5:15 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

“People in the community were really clamoring for bus service later into the evenings. And now the extended hours give them much better access to get where they need to go when they need to get there,” said Todd Hollenbeck, regional transportation planning manager for Mesa County.
