Businesses collection points for children’s coat drive

Three Grand Junction businesses will serve as collection points for an annual children’s coat drive organized by 9-year-old Landon Grossnickle.

New and gently used coats for children age birth to 18 years old may be dropped off at all Mesa County District 51 schools.

Coats also may be dropped off at Bookcliff Family Hearing Center, 120 W. Park Drive, Suite 111; Firstlight Home Care, 529 25 1/2 Road, Suite 207; and Peak Performance Chiropractic, 1445 N. 12th St.

Grossnickle collected more than 500 coats in his first drive in 2012. He hopes to collect more coats this year.
