Businesswoman joins Family Health West board
Stacey Mascarenas has joined the Family Health West Board of Trustees.
“We are very fortunate to have Stacey on our board. She is truly an asset to this community and we are pleased to have her support and contributions as a board member,” said Dennis Ficklin, president and chief executive officer of Family Health West.
Mascarenas works as managing broker of the family owned Wakefield Management Co. She also has worked as property agent and commissioner to convey real estate for Mesa County since 1991.
She was elected to the Fruita City Council in 2008 and serves as the Fruita liaison as well as chairwoman of the Grand Valley Regional Transportation Committee. She also serves on the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Grand Junction Area Realtor Association.
In addition, she’s involved with the Mesa County Meth Task Force, Mesa State College Alumni Association, Grand Junction Kiwanis Club and Friends of Mesa County School Distinct 51.
Mascarenas holds a bachelor’s degree from Mesa State College and has earned the Masters of Real Estate and Graduate of the Real Estate Institute designations.
Family Health West operates a hospital in Fruita as well as assisted-living and skilled-care facilities and imaging and rehabilitation therapy centers.
