Chiropractic clinic plans free health workshops
New Life Chiropractic in Grand Junction has scheduled a series of free health workshops for August.
A workshop on rehabilitation exercises is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Aug. 14 at New Life Chiropractic, located at 2532 Patterson Road, No. 15. The workshop will cover stretching and strengthening exercises for the ankles, back, core, knees, neck and shoulders.
A workshop on trigger point massage is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Aug. 21. Participants will learn how to locate trigger points and relieve them.
Wes Sheader, a chiropractor at New Life Chiropractic and a member of the Foundation for Wellness Professionals, will lead separate workshops on fibromyalgia and digestive problems.
The workshop on fibromyalgia and chronic pain is set for 5:30 p.m Aug. 16 in the lower level conference room at Community Hospital, 2021 N. 12th St.
A workshop on natural solutions to digestive problems is set for 6:30 p.m. Aug. 28 in the community room at Goodwill Industries, 630 24 1/2 Road.
