Classes designed to curb crime at rental properties

Registration is under way for the next classes offered in a program designed to reduce crime at multi-family housing properties.

The Grand Junction Police Department has scheduled the classes for 1 to 5 p.m. Oct. 22 and 23 at the police station at 555 Ute Ave.

Property owners and managers are encouraged to attend to learn how to curb illegal and nuisance activity as well as a create a safer and more desirable environment for residents. The classes are part of the Crime-Free Multi-Housing Program.
