Clinic offers School District 51 sports physicals

Family Health West offers physicals for Mesa County School District 51 students involved in fall sports.

Physicals will be offered from 2 to 5 p.m. weekdays through July 28 and 1 to 5 p.m. July 29 to Aug. 2 at the access clinic located at 215 N. Plum St. in Fruita. Students should bring appropriate paperwork. Physicals cost $25.

“These physicals ensure that the student is physically fit for his or her particular sports interest,” said Lori Henderson, chief nursing officer for Family Health West. “Physicals will be done on a first-come, first-served basis unless the student has scheduled an appointment.”

For appointments or more information, call Family Health West at 858-2190.
