CMU honors distinguished alumni and faculty

Al Ruckman, an engineer who founded GeoStablization International in Grand Junction, and Robert Strong, a retired aviation engineer who’s traveled the world, have been selected as the latest distinguished alumni from Colorado Mesa University. Gigi Richard, a geology professor at CMU, was named distinguished faculty member.

The three will be among those honored a dinner set for 5:30 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Meyer Ballroom in the University Center on the CMU campus in Grand Junction. Tickets sell for $35 online at www.supportingcmu.org/2017-victory-dinner.
