CMU to confer degrees to largest graduating class in history

Colorado Mesa University expects to confer degrees to its largest graduating class in history during ceremonies scheduled for May 12.

CMU commencement is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. May 12 in Stocker Stadium at 12th Street and North Avenue in Grand Junction. The ceremony also will be shown online at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/cmumavericks/.

A total of 1,369 degrees will be conferred to 1,275 students.

U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet will deliver the keynote address. Ben Linzey, president of the Associated Student Government at CMU, will address his fellow graduates.
