Collections sought for Edward Jones food drive

Collections will be accepted through September for a food drive conducted at 11 branch offices of Edward Jones Investments in the Grand Valley.

Barrels will be set up at participating Edward Jones offices to collect nonperishable canned and boxed foods as well as paper products, personal care items and pet food. All donations will be delivered to the Western Slope Food Bank of the Rockies.

The Western Slope Food Bank of the Rockies works with 147 nonprofit programs across the region to help people in need. During the last fiscal year, the food bank distributed 3.3 million pounds of food through those programs.
