Colorado Winefest artwork selected

A painting by a Grand Junction artist depicting a bicycle, a basket filled with wine bottles and glasses and a Grand Valley backdrop has been selected as the commemorative artwork for upcoming Colorado Winefest events.

The Judy Rogan painting, titled “Tipsy Trails,” was selected during a reception at the Blue Pig Gallery in Palisade. The artwork will be used to promote the Colorado Urban Winefest set for June in Denver and Colorado Mountain Winefest set for September in Palisade. Prints of the painting will be available for  purchase.

Rogan has been painting with oils and watercolors in Grand Junction since 2009. Her work is displayed in galleries and shops in Grand Junction, Glenwood Springs and Redstone.

The Colorado Association of Viticulture and Enology, a trade association of grape growers and wineries, stages the Colorado Winefest events to promote the industry as well as raise money for the organization and its activities. For more information, visit
