Crossroads Fitness donates equipment to senior facility

Crossroads Fitness in Grand Junction has donated more than $5,000 worth of exercise equipment that’s been installed at a senior living center.

The 10-piece set of strength training machines has been set up at the Commons, an independent- and assisted-living center operated by Hilltop Community Resources. Designed for use in a circuit exercise routine, the machines come with diagrams depicting the exercises and offer easy resistance selection.

Mike Stahl, chief executive officer of Hilltop Community Resources, said he and residents at the Commons are grateful for the donation. “It has been a wonderful enhancement to the services we can offer to our residents.”

Crossroads Fitness operates health clubs at 225 N. Fifth St. and 2768 Crossroads Drive. For more information, call 242-8746 or visit
