Employees clean up in volunteer effort

Employees from the Pinnacol Assurance office in Grand Junction celebrated the 10th anniversary of a corporate volunteer program by adopting a stretch of U.S. Highway 50 near Whitewater to clean.

Employees picked up litter along the road as part of what’s planned as two cleanup efforts a year.

Since the Pinnacol in Action program was launched in 2003, employees have donated more than 46,500 hours to various nonprofit organizations and causes throughout Colorado.

Pinnacol Assurance provides workers’ compensation insurance. For more information, visit www.pinnacol.com.
