Energy firm to distribute water storage tanks

Resource West in Grand Junction has reached an agreement to distribute Mobile Water Solutions (MWS) above-ground water storage tanks for the oil and natural gas industry.

“With above-ground water storage becoming more and more essential to oil and gas operations throughout the United States, a partnership like this will bring these in-demand tanks to the market in a way that will benefit communities, producers and service providers alike,” said Jack Hays, owner and chief executive officer of Resource West.

The Colorado-based MWS manufactures three sizes of its Goliath-brand tanks, the largest holding nearly 1.7 million gallons.

The tanks add to a product line for Resource West that also includes evaporation and filtration systems, overspray control devices and industrial heating pads.

Launched in 2006 initially as a sister company of Western Pump & Dredge, Resource West now has equipment in 21 states, eight countries and a number of different industries that evaporate wastewater, production water and storm runoff water.
