Family Health West offers fitness classes designed specifically for older adults
Family Health West in Fruita now offers fitness classes designed specifically for older adults.
SilverSneakers classes are set for 1 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the nursing home at 228 N. Cherry St.
“Participants should wear comfortable clothing, rubber-soled shoes and bring water,” said Susie Ziegler, a certified SilverSneakers senior advisor and instructor. “It’s a lot of fun and the health benefits are wonderful.”
SilverSneakers offers a fitness program through a nationwide network of participating locations.
