Fast-growing painting contractor to operate branch out of Grand Junction

Vivax Pro Painting, a Denver-area residential painting contractor that ranks among the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United Sates, has announced plans to operate a branch out of Grand Junction.

Bob Owen, father of Vivax founder Jeremiah Owen, will serve as branch operator. Mary Lou Wilson, former executive director of the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce, will serve as project planner.

Jeremiah Owen started Vivax in 2004. In 2007, the company painted 350 homes. By 2010, that number increased to 2,200. With a more than 1,000 percent increase in annual revenues over the past three years, Vivax ranked 292nd in the Inc. magazine 2010 listing of the 500 fastest-growing privately held companies in the country.

“As a team, we’ve found a way to let homeowners know they can upgrade their houses. They may not get a new house this year, but why not protect and beautify their largest investment?” Owen said. “We are raising the bar for the expectations home owners have for contractors in the home services industry.”
