Four elected to Fruita Chamber executive board

Four people have been elected to the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce executive board.

The new members are: John Burwell Jr., Peterson Plumbing and Heating, president; Tom Oliver, Alpine Bank, vice president; Barbara Lucks, CMCA/Effective Membership Services, treasurer; and Dawn Merris, SOS Home Interior Styling, secretary.

Two more people have been elected to serve three-year terms on the Fruita chamber board of directors: Christy Hovland of Cherry Street Chocolates and Dan Reynolds of Horse Mountain Alpacas.

Hovland and Reynolds join three returning board members: Michelle Melgares of Cornerstone Mortgage, Ben Wagener of Younge and Hockensmith and Terry Moss of Western Valley Family Practice.

Joel Kincaid of Merge 2 Media, the 2011 chamber board president, has left after serving a three-year  term. So has Megan Sears of Town & Country Finance, the 2011 vice president.
