Four new members appointed to board of directors of Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado

Four new members have been appointed to the board of directors of Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado based in Grand Junction:

Chris Launer, retired branch president of Bank of Colorado. In addition to his experience in banking, Launer has served on the boards of the Business Incubator Center, Downtown Development, Grand Junction Economic Partnership, Riverview Technology Center and Rocky Mountain Health Plans.

Judy Riessen, co-owner of Colorado Conifers in Montrose. Riessen has served on the Hospice advisory board for Montrose and Ouray counties as well as on the boards of the Mesa State College Foundation and Montrose Community Foundation.

Rick Sapp, retired executive who worked in the manufacturing and banking industries. Sapp serves as chairman of the Hospice foundation board. He’s also served on the board of the Western Colorado Contractors Association.

Jamee Simons, owner of Enstrom Candies in Grand Junction. Simons served as co-chair of United Way and Mesa State College fund-raising campaigns and also has served on the boards of the Grand Junction Visitors & Convention Bureau and Mesa County Community Advisory Board.
