Free guidebook covers estate planning basics

A free guidebook offering revised information about estate planning and assisted living is available from a Grand Junction lawyer.

The guidebook, prepared by the law office of Billie M. Castle, covers the basics of wills and trusts as well as advance directives, long-term care planning, Medicaid eligibility and probates.

In addition, the guidebook includes an updated listing of independent-living, assisted-living and skilled-care facilities in Western Colorado.

Castle has worked in Grand Junction nearly 14 years in a legal practice that emphasizes estate planning, long-term care planning and Medicaid benefits.

Castle is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and holds designation from the National Elder Law Foundation as a certified elder law attorney. She is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association and a former chairwoman of the CBA elder law committee.
