Freelance tutor offers computer instruction

Christella Kay offers instruction in using computer programs, the Internet and social media platforms as a freelance tutor in the Grand Valley.

Kay brings to her instruction her training as well as her experience as an adjunct professor at a local community college. She offers instruction through personalized, in-home tutoring sessions and small group training for businesses. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite, she also can help professionals in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as the Windows 10 operating system.

Some people need help with the more rudimentary aspects of operating a computer, Kay said. “A lot of people don’t know the difference between the Internet and a browser, and they’re too embarrassed to ask. I wanted to provide a service to answer their questions and make them feel comfortable with computers instead of feeling left behind.”
