Joel Kincaid has been appointed president of the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce Board for 2011.
Kincaid owns Merge 2 Media, a marketing, design and research agency in Fruita. He has served on the chamber board for three years, including a term as vice president in 2010.
Megan Sears of Town & Country Finance will serve as vice president, while Barbara Lucks of Effective Membership Services will serve as secretary and Carlos Valdez of Rocky Mountain Health Plans as treasurer.
Stacy Mascarenas will serve on the board as a liaison from the Fruita City Council. Ben Wegener of the Younge & Hockensmith law firm will serve as a liaison from the Grand Valley Young Professionals. Michelle Howard of Stelera and Tom Oliver of Alpine Bank will join the board.
Returning board members include Todd Brock of State Farm Insurance, Victoria Gunyan of Gunyan Family Chiropractic, Ted Okey of Pablo’s Pizza , Michelle Melgares of U.S. Bamk and Richard Weigand of Keller Williams.
