Fruita Co-op Country plans benefit pet event

Fruita Co-op Country will participate in a benefit pet vaccination and microchip event set for 1 to 3 p.m. Oct. 29 at 1650 U.S. Highway 6 & 50.

Veterinarian Paul Grych will conduct the vaccination and microchip clinic. Proceeds will benefit the Roice-Hurst Humane Society animal shelter in Clifton.

The event also will feature pets available for adoption from the shelter dressed in Halloween costumes.
