Fruita restaurants join in fall festival event

Four Fruita restaurants plan to participate in an upcoming event celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Fruita Fall Festival.

The progressive dinner is set for March 27, with seatings at 5, 5:45, 6:30 and 7:15 p.m. Tickets sell for $25 and are available from the Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce offices located at 432 E. Aspen Ave. For more information, call 858-3894.

The dinner will feature appetizers at the Hot Tomato Cafe and Pizzeria, soup and salad at Pablo’s Pizza, an entree at the End Zone Sports Pub and dessert and sake at No Coast Sushi.

The dinner is among the monthly events the Fruita chamber plans leading up to the 100th Fruita Fall Festival set for Sept. 26 to 28. At each event, participants will receive a playing card. In July, a poker event is planned for the Copper Club.
