Garden tour to benefit Western Colorado Botanical Gardens

An annual benefit event offering a self-guided tour of Grand Valley gardens is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 2 and 3.

The tour will feature a total of seven private and commercial gardens in Palisade as well as musical and artistic entertainment. Master gardeners will be available at each venue to answer questions.

Tour guide books will be available starting May 31 at Grande River Vineyards at 787 N. Elberta Ave. in Palisade and the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens, 641 Struthers Ave. in Grand Junction.

Advance tickets sell for $10 at City Market stores, Grande River Vineyards, local nurseries and the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens gift shop. Tickets purchased the day of the event sell for $12.
