Golf tournament to benefit CMU business student group

Registration is underway for an annual benefit golf tournament organized by the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda at Colorado Mesa University.

The annual PBL Golf Tournament is set for April 28 at Adobe Creek Golf Course in Fruita. Check-in will begin at 7 a.m., with tee off at 8 a.m.

The tournament is open to the public. Registration is underway through April 14. Registration costs $400 for a team and $100 for individuals Registration covers greens fees, golf carts, lunch and an awards ceremony.

Halllam and Associates Insurance Agency will sponsor a $10,000 hole-in-one prize. Hole sponsorships are available for businesses at four levels.

The FBLA-PBL helps students apply what they learn in the classroom to real world situations through leadership and networking opportunities as well as community service and competition. Proceeds from the golf tournament will help members participate in state and national academic competitions.
