Golf tournament to benefit Future Business Leaders of America

Registration is under way for a golf tournament planned to raise money for the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda chapter at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction.

The Business Executive Golf Tournament is set for Sept. 22 at Adobe Creek Golf Course in Fruita. Check-in and a continental breakfast starts at 8 a.m., followed by play at 9 a.m. Lunch and an awards ceremony will follow the four-person, best ball scramble.

Admission for a four-person team is $350. Hole sponsorships are available for $140. Proceeds will help defray the cost of travel to state and national academic competitions for students.

To register or obtain more information, call Deb Parman at 248-1170 or Jack Carter at (303) 587-2645. The registration deadline for the tournament is Sept. 20. The deadline for hole sponsorships is Sept. 13.
