Health care administrator retires

Dennis Reuss, director of technical operations at Quality Health Network (QHN) in Grand Junction, has retired after working in the health care industry in the Grand Valley for 40 years.

Reuss had worked at QHN since 2008. Over the course of his career, Reuss also had served as administrative director of laboratory services at St. Mary’s Hospital and director of information at Colorado West Regional Mental Health.

“Dennis came on board to lead our expansion to other areas of Western Colorado. The relationships that he had developed over the years and his capabilities made him a valuable asset to all our stakeholders. He’s going to be missed,” said Dick Thompson, executive director and chief executive officer of QHN.

The organization operates a secure electronic health information exchange that provides authorized providers fast access to medical and insurance records.
