Health club names new head trainer

Bobby Brown has been named head trainer at Crossroads Fitness in Grand Junction.

Brown manages an expanded fitness training staff at Crossroads Fitness as well as creates new fitness programs and educates staff and health club members.

Brown holds an associate’s degree from Vatterott College and also taught courses there in exercise physiology, nutrition and sports medicine certification. He also holds certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Brown has worked as a personal trainer for such diverse clients as a young athletes, mixed martial arts fighters and senior citizens in their 90s. He specializes in promoting weight loss by teaching functional training for daily life and also enjoys working one-on-one with seniors to help them maintain active lifestyles.
