Hopewest expands to bring services to Meeker

HopeWest has further expanded its hospice and palliative care organization to provide services in Meeker.

“We are very excited to be expanding our organization, providing transformational care to communities across Western Colorado,” said Christy Whitney, president and chief executive officer of HopeWest. “We knew that there was a need in Meeker and wanted to do all that we could to help the people of that area.”

HopeWest joined with the Pioneers Medical Center in creating HopeWest Meeker. The organization is comprised of more than 30 volunteers with leadership from a local advisory board and paid clinical staff.

Headquartered in Grand Junction, HopeWest offers a range of services to people facing serious illnesses, end of life and grief. For more information, call 241-2212 or visit www.HopeWestCO.org.
