Hospice manager earns certification

Janette McClaskey, program manager of volunteer services at Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado, has earned the Certified Volunteer Administration (CVA) designation.

McClaskey joins a group of 1,200 individuals who’ve earned the credential from the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration. Candidates must demonstrate their knowledge in accountability, human resources and organizational management and leadership. They also must prove they have a philosophy of volunteer administration and pledge to follow a professional code of ethics.
