Hospice wins awards in creative arts competition

Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado based in Grand Junction earned two awards in a national creative arts competition.

The organization won first prize in a social media video category for a video titled “Grief Through the Eyes of a Child.” The organization won an honorable mention for a photograph titled “Louise Takes Off” that depicts a hospice patient who was granted her wish to ride a motorcycle. The National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization presented the contest.
