IHOP to serve up free food for fund-raiser

The International House of Pancakes once again will celebrate National Pancake Day by serving free pancakes and collecting charitable donations.

From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. March 4, IHOP restaurants will serve free short stacks of buttermilk pancakes. In exchange, customers are asked to make donations to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, Shriners hospitals and other charities. IHOP restaurants also are selling “Miracle Balloons” for $5 donations. In Grand Junction, the IHOP is located at 2420 U.S. Highway 6 & 50.
