Institute brings anti-aging programs to Grand Junction

The Aspen Institute for Regenerative Medicine has opened a location in Grand Junction to offer a variety of anti-aging programs.

The Grand Junction operation is located at 321 Rood Ave. in the same building as the Family and Sports Medicine Clinic.

The Aspen Institute for Regenerative Medicine offers hormone and testosterone therapies, age management programs and other treatments designed to improve the health and well-being of patients.

Dr. Julian Robert Gershon, a certified age management physician who operates the institute, said people begin to lose hormones around age 30. The resulting hormone imbalances can cause such symptoms as fatigue, memory loss, mood swings and weight gains.

“In shifting the emphasis from disease-driven medicine to an optimal health medical practice and centering on evidence-based protocols, we are seeing our patients reach their goals 95 percent of the time,” Gershon said.
