Latest class completes leadership training

Sixteen people have graduated from the latest Mesa County Leadership Program offered by the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce.

The graduates are: Nick Bierman and Rick Stengel, Ute Water Conservancy District; Brady Blackmer, FCI Constructors; Candace Carnahan, Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce; Michelle DeShazer, U.S. Bank; Dean Harris, Mountain States Employers Council; Theresa Jaramillo and Traci Wieland, City of Grand Junction; Kimberly Jimenez, Wells Fargo Bank; Craig Madsen, Merrill Lynch; Ryan Stringfellow, St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation; Curtis Thomas, OBJ Group; Ben Van Hoose, Alpine Bank; Michele VanLondersele-Green, ANB Bank; Angela Wetzel, Spectrum Reach; and Jennifer Wright, Dalby, Wendland & Co.

The program offers training to participants in the business and nonprofit sectors to help them assume leadership roles in the community, including board memberships and elected positions. The next class begins in September. For more information, call 242-3214.
